Murdeshwar is a town in Bhatkal Taluk of Uttara Kannada district in the state of Karnataka, India. Murudeshwar is another name of the Hindu god Shiva. Famous for the world's second-tallest Shiva statue, the town lies on the coast of the Arabian Sea and is also famous for the Murdeshwar Temple.
Murudeshwar Temple
Murudeshwar Temple is an ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. The town was earlier known as 'Mrideshwara' and later renamed as Murudeshwar after the construction of the temple.
Lord Shiva Statue
The statue of Lord Shiva is the second biggest statue of Lord Shiva in the world after the statue in Nepal. The 123 feet (37m) huge towering statue of Lord Shiva is surrounded by the Arabian Sea is the major attraction of Murudeshwar town along with famous Murudeshwar Temple.

Sri Mookambika Devi Temple is a Hindu temple situated at Kollur in Udupi district of Karnataka. The temple is located in the valley of Kodachadri Mountain Peak on the banks of Souparnika River.
Kodachadri
Kodachadri is a mountain peak in the Western Ghats situated at an altitude of 1343m. Kodachadri is a wonderful place for trekking and is among the top destinations for trekking in Karnataka. It is believed that Shankaracharya did meditation on this hill and there is a 'Sarvajna Peetha' located on top of the hill.
Kudumari
Kudumari Waterfalls is a magnificent waterfall dropping from a height of 300 feet through a single step. One has to trek for about 3 Kms from Chaktikal through dense forest. The trek route is considered to be very dangerous and not usually recommended for regular visitors. It is also one of the best waterfalls in Karnataka.
Mirjan Fort
The Mirjan Fort is located on the west coast of the Uttara Kannada district in the southern Indian state of Karnataka. The fort known for its architectural elegance was the location of several battles in the past.
